My hope is to raise awareness about autism, as well as the issues faced by families affected by autism. I created this blog in order to provide an online directory of information that I have found through years of research, as well as sites and books that have been referred to me since my oldest daughter was first diagnosed with autism. There's a lot I know, but still far more that I don't know. I hope we can all help each other understand this journey that we're all on.

October Autism Support Group Meeting
The meeting went well tonight. Had a new couple come to the meeting who believe all three of their sons may be on the autism spectrum. It felt good to have them be there and not feel so alone going through the process of trying to get an autism diagnosis. The friends I've made and the people I've been able to connect through this group makes it all worth it; makes it feel like I'm making a difference.

Every May is Celiac Disease Awareness Month. Organizations, such as yourself have been the catalyst for such high awareness, but as you know this can not be the only time we think of this disease. Disease.com is dedicated to spreading the awareness for the Celiac Disease, causes, preventions, symptoms, and of course treatments. Through our disease profiles we have been able to work with several elite non-profit organizations. Now we want to work with you. If you could, please list us as a resource or host our social book mark button, it would be much appreciated. Let's create a medical breakthrough, through established awareness. If you want more information on that please email me back with the subject line as your URL.
